Decorative Cover Papers

At Bella Forte we use the highest quality materials available. Our papers have traveled the globe to rest in our flat files. Our Tibetan papers are designed in house and printed in Tibet using sustainable plants. They are fair-trade certified, ensuring that the wonderful paper-makers are able to support their families. Papers from India are also fair-trade certified and are made with recycled cotton from textile mills. We also use papers from Italy, Japan and Thailand. If you don’t see the perfect paper on this site we will find it for you!

Book Cloth

We import a variety of silk, linen, cotton and rayon book cloth from Japan. We stock a number of different colors, textures and finishes so that you have a wide selection to choose from. Whatever we do not stock, we can get for your special project. When doing a more traditional binding, such as for library bindings, older volumes, and book restoration, we use an appropriate book cloth like a cotton/linen mix with a mat finish.

Letterpress Paper

We primarily use 110lb and 220 lb. Crane Lettera papers, which are 100% cotton.
